RFP issued for Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan

Encouraging Safe Bicycling and Walking to School --
Communities Organize for First Round of Funding

 Communities throughout the Granite State are recognizing the many benefits of safe walking and bicycling to school. Burning calories instead of gasoline, reducing traffic jams in school zones, and improving air quality are the potential benefits of the New Hampshire Safe Routes to School (NHSRTS) initiative administered by the state Department of Transportation (NHDOT).
 
NHDOT invites anyone interested in NHSRTS to comment on draft funding criteria that have been posted on our Web site. The department anticipates issuing a first request for proposals in the near future. More Information.

Draft Public Participation Plan of the Seacoast Metropolitan Planning Organization

A 45-day public comment period on the Draft Public Participation Plan (Plan) of the Seacoast Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) has started January 25, 2007 and will continue through April 12, 2007.

Copies of the Draft Plan have been presented and distributed at the meeting Jan. 25 and will be available after January 25, 2007 in the public libraries of Rochester, Portsmouth, Dover, Exeter and Hampton and at the offices of the Strafford Regional Planning Commission and Rockingham Planning Commission. cialis generique france pharmcie.
